Summer in the Alps - a natural adventure which cannot be compared with anything else. In sommertime (June until October) a full adventure program can be offered on request. The owner, Thijs van Wijk, can accompany you and shows you the best side of Gastein. Guided mountainbike tours, climbing, horseback riding, outdoor games (like paintball), tandem flying, traditional archery, Segway tours, E-biking, guided downhill tour with monster scooters or mountain carts, lama trekking, teambuilding incentives, fishing, guided walking tours, rafting, canyoning and much more.

There is practically not one type of sport that cannot be exercised in the Gastein Valley in summer. Trend sports will find ideal conditions here. Strength and concentration can be trained on the adventure course belonging to the Waldgasthof Angertal, where you can also learn archery. Those who enjoy climbing in the mountains looking for close contact with nature and rocks can test their limits by feeling their way over the climbing wall. Or why not try your luck looking for gold while Gold washing in the Nassfelder River, with the Montanverein Böckstein.

Cycling and Walking
For cycling, running and Nordic walking the special network of diversified routes in Gastein has something to offer for all.

Bewegungsarena Gastein
In the direct area of our house are 11 well pointed routes for hiking with a total length of 120 kilometres.
The altitude is between 830 and 1600m above sea level – a true paradise for walkers and joggers.

Golf
In a few minutes from Chalet Gastein is the famous 18-holes Gasteiner Golf course. The golf club was founded in 1960 and it belongs to the oldest golf clubs of Austria.
Within 50 km you can reach 11 other golf courses.
